Meet the First Family

Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil is the founder and the senior pastor of Praise Chapel International Church Inc. an Assemblies of God fellowship, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He is blessed with a wonderful and a dynamic wife, Phidelia and three beautiful children, Prince, Jude, and Gabriella.

Originally from Ghana, West Africa but has since naturalized as a citizen of the United States of America.
Whiles in Ghana, Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil was instrumental in planting many churches through open air crusades and door-to-door evangelism. “Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to all creation” Mark 16:15. In 1985, Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil received an angelic visitation in a dream asking him to give his life to the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal savior. The next day he accepted Christ, becoming the first among his siblings to take that journey with the Lord Jesus Christ. Today by the grace of God not only has he accepted the call of God into fulltime ministry but through his obedience the Lord has raised two more ministers in his family and many others in the faith.
Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil is a selfless and dynamic man of God. The Lord is using him in many of the ministry gifts including healing, teaching, and discerning of spirits, to mention just a few. He had his theological training in Messiah Bible Institute (1990), Southern Ghana Bible Institute (1997), and he is currently studying for Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology at the Global University in Missouri, USA. Those who are touched by his ministry never remain the same.
Come and experience the unlimited power and love of the Supreme and Divine Architect at work through this humble and dedicated servant of God.

First Lady Phidelia Crentsil

Mrs. Phidelia Crentsil, “Mama Phedelia” as affectionately called by Praise Chapel International Church members, is a very talented, brilliant and dedicated Christian. She loves reading and her insight in the Bible knowledge has helped many in the church and the community. In addition to her passion for presiding as church mother, Mama Phidelia also enjoys singing and song compositions. Many of the songs that are sung by Praise Chapel International Church are the product of her creative compositions. She is also talented in translating most of the African songs into English. This loving task makes it easier for every member in the church to enjoy singing, lead by an enthusiastic “ARE YOU READY?” from the church mother.
Mama Phidelia ministers regularly to the “PRAISE WOMEN” fellowship and she serves as a role model to the women and teens in Praise Chapel International Church. She efficiently divides her time between working as a banker and serving the church. Despite her hectic work schedule she is consistently involved in church activities, including taking over the podium in the absence of her wonderful husband, Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil and during special occasions.
Mama Phidelia married Rev. Anthony A. Crentsil in her home country of Ghana in December 1995. She is a loving mother of three and accepts it as a great joy and a high calling to be a pastor’s wife. It comes with a great responsibility but has its blessings thereof. Ephesians 1:3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ”.
Mama Phidelia is loved and respected, not only within, but beyond the walls of Praise Chapel International Church as well. Her love for music and singing has resulted in many invitations to lift her voice in churches in and around Greensboro, NC. Her spirit-felt Praise and Worship sessions are very remarkable in the church.
Praise Chapel International Church of Greensboro, NC is blessed to have such a devoted and altruistic church mother.
